Our client sought to construct alterations and additions to their existing warehouse in Gipps St, North Wollongong.

The site was heavily flood prone and Rienco was engaged to carry out a detailed 2D pre- and post -development flood study for the DA.

The DA process was complex to navigate through as the flood behaviour at the site was complex, as were Council’s recent changes to its culvert blockage policy.

Multifaceted negotiations were required in order to achieve the consent.

Three previous DA’s had been unsuccessful, however, Rienco was able to provide the engineering services that assisted in securing the approval.
