Proposed Residence on Flood Prone Land
Our client sought to construct a small residential dwelling on their commensurately zoned parcel of land in Thirroul, NSW.
The site was heavily flood prone and Rienco was engaged to carry out a detailed 2D pre- and post -development flood study for the DA.
The DA process was complex to navigate through as the flood behaviour at the site was complex, as were Council’s recent changes to its culvert blockage policy.
Multifaceted negotiations were required in order to achieve the consent.
